You may not know this but as of November last year Falmouth became a Fairtrade town and made a promise to spread the word to all. On Saturday 18 March local eateries are doing just that, joining forces with Origin coffee (who have kindly donated their beans), to celebrate the finale of Fairtrade fortnight.
Make Fairtrade Your Habit, is the theme, and this is how you do your bit: just go into one of the cafes listed below and order yourself a coffee. It is that simple. For every coffee bought one pound will be donated.
The forward thinking establishments are:
Citrus Café Gallery, Pier Cafe, Great Shakes, National Maritime Museum Café, Trebah Gardens, Blue South, and Jules Bistro (located behind Tesco).
